Abstract
A method for preparing a lithographic printing plate includes: imagewise exposing a lithographic printing plate precursor including a photosensitive layer containing a sensitizing dye, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer and an aluminum support on which a divalent cation is adsorbed in an amount of from 0.5 to 3.0 mg/m2 prepared by treating the aluminum support with an aqueous polyvinylphosphonic acid solution and washing the treated aluminum support with an aqueous solution containing the divalent cation; and subjecting the exposed lithographic printing plate precursor to a monobath development processing with a developer.
Claims12
A method for preparing a lithographic printing plate comprising:
- imagewise exposing a lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a photosensitive layer containing a sensitizing dye, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer and an aluminum support on which a divalent cation is adsorbed in an amount of from 0.5 to 3.0 mg/m2 prepared by treating the aluminum support with an aqueous polyvinylphosphonic acid solution and washing the treated aluminum support with an aqueous solution containing the divalent cation;
- and
- subjecting the exposed lithographic printing plate precursor to a monobath development processing with a developer.
A lithographic printing plate precursor which is capable of undergoing a monobath development processing with a developer and comprises:
- a photosensitive layer comprising a sensitizing dye, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer;
- and
- an aluminum support on which a divalent cation is adsorbed in an amount of from 0.5 to 3.0 mg/m2 prepared by treating the aluminum support with an aqueous polyvinylphosphonic acid solution and washing the treated aluminum support with an aqueous solution containing a divalent cation.
