A method for the activation of a fuel cell, the method comprising periodically operating the fuel cell entirely or partially in an electrolysis regimen at least briefly during galvanic operation, whereby a direction of oxidant flow is periodically reversed.
A fuel cell that is adapted to operate entirely or partially in an electrolysis regimen at least briefly during galvanic operation and to periodically reverse a direction of oxidant flow into and out of the fuel cell.
A fuel cell, comprising an external power source that is adapted to periodically operate the fuel cell entirely or partially in an electrolysis regimen at least briefly during galvanic operation, whereby a direction of oxidant flow is periodically reversed.
A fuel cell comprising means for activating the fuel cell by periodically operating the fuel cell entirely or partially in an electrolysis regimen at least briefly during galvanic operation, whereby a direction of oxidant flow is periodically reversed.
