A cleaning member including a member body that is brought into contact with a surface of a member to be cleaned; and a sensor that is fixed to a portion of the member body except a portion in contact with the member to be cleaned and is made of a metallic film.

A cleaning member comprising:
- a member body that is brought into contact with a surface of a member to be cleaned;
- and
- a sensor that is fixed to a portion of the member body except a portion in contact with the member to be cleaned and is made of a metallic film.
A cartridge comprising:
- an image carrier that has an image formed thereon and carries the image;
- and
- a cleaning member including a member body that is brought into contact with a surface of the image carrier, and a sensor that is fixed to a portion of the member body except a portion in contact with the image carrier and is made of a metallic thin film.
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- an image carrier that has an image formed thereon and carries the image;
- an image forming unit that forms the image on the image carrier;
- a transferring/fixing unit that transfers the image formed on the image carrier onto a recording medium, and fixes the image onto the recording medium;
- and
- a cleaning member including a member body that is brought into contact with a surface of the image carrier, and a sensor that is fixed to a portion of the member body except a portion in contact with the image carrier and is made of a metallic thin film.
