Abstract
A storage compartment, in particular for a floor area of a motor vehicle interior, for stowing objects, includes, but is not limited to a trough-shaped or cup-shaped wall having a support area that forms a protrusion and which at least partially encloses an access opening and a lid element that can be laid on the support area to form at least one join section with the support area to cover the access opening means being provided for covering the join section in order to prevent penetration of objects, such as dirt into the join section.
Claims17
A storage compartment for a motor vehicle for stowing objects, comprising:
- an access opening;
- a lid element;
- a wall having a support area that forms a protrusion and at least partially encloses the access opening, and the lid element that can be laid on the support area to form a join section with the support area to cover the access opening;
- and
- a means for covering the join section and adapted to minimize penetration of an object into the join section.
