Propulsion device for operation with a plurality of fuels for an aircraft

A propulsion device for an aircraft, wherein the propulsion device comprises:

• a propulsion unit gene adapted for generating forward thrust;
• an energy converter;
• a control unit;
• wherein the energy converter is adapted for providing propulsion energy to the propulsion unit by at least one first fuel;
• wherein the energy converter is adapted for providing propulsion energy to the propulsion unit by at least one second fuel;
• wherein the propulsion unit adapted for generating forward thrust;
• wherein the first fuel and the second fuel are different liquid fuels;
• wherein the energy converter is an engine suited to several different fuels;
• and
• wherein the control unit is adapted for controlling the provision of the first fuel and of the second fuel to the energy converter.
