Abstract
A system for powering wellsite surface equipment comprises at least one prime mover in communication with a fuel source for powering the prime mover and having at least one heat source, at least one pump arranged to be driven by the prime mover, the at least one pump in fluid communication with at least one wellbore and at least one fluid for use in the wellbore, and at least one auxiliary system in communication with the heat source from the at least one prime mover.
Claims21
A system for powering wellsite surface equipment, comprising:
- at least one prime mover in communication with a fuel source for powering the prime mover and having at least one heat source;
- at least one pump arranged to be driven by the prime mover, the at least one pump in fluid communication with at least one wellbore and at least one fluid for use in the wellbore;
- and
- at least one auxiliary system in communication with the heat source from the at least one prime mover.
A method, comprising:
- providing a system for powering wellsite equipment, the system comprising at least one prime mover in communication with a fuel source for powering the prime mover and having at least one heat source, at least one pump arranged to be driven by the prime mover, the at least one pump in fluid communication with at least one wellbore and at least one fluid for use in the wellbore, and at least one auxiliary system in communication with the heat source from the at least one prime mover;
- positioning the wellsite equipment and system adjacent the wellbore;
- and
- performing at least one well services operation in the wellbore with the wellsite equipment.
