Abstract
In one embodiment of the present invention, a computer-implemented method includes receiving a set of alphanumeric information. A first set of metadata is generated that is associated with the alphanumeric information, and a second set of metadata is generated that is associated with the alphanumeric information. The first set of metadata is transmitted at a first time and the second set of metadata is transmitted at a second time subsequent to the first time. The first and/or second sets of metadata can be used to trigger an automated trade of a security.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- (a) receiving a set of alphanumeric information;
- (b) generating a first set of metadata associated with the alphanumeric information;
- (c) generating a second set of metadata associated with the alphanumeric information;
- and
- (d) transmitting the first set of metadata at a first time and the second set of metadata at a second time.
A system comprising:
- a computer configured for receiving a set of alphanumeric information;
- generating a first set of metadata associated with the alphanumeric information;
- generating a second set of metadata associated with the alphanumeric information;
- and
- transmitting the first set of metadata at a first time and the second set of metadata at a second time.
