Abstract
An acellular matrix glue and a method of making is disclosed. Specifically, an acellular matrix glue that is useful in preparing a reinforced acellular matrix for medical applications including tissue engineering and hernia repair.
Claims19
An acellular matrix glue, comprising an acellular matrix and an aqueous solution.
A reinforced acellular matrix, comprising:
- an acellular matrix layer;
- an acellular matrix glue layer;
- and, a reinforcement layer.
A method of reinforcing tissue in a surgical procedure, comprising:
- providing a reinforced acellular matrix, the matrix comprising:
- an acellular matrix layer;
- an acellular matrix glue layer made from an acellular matrix glue;
- and, a reinforcement layer;
- and,
- mounting the matrix to tissue.
