- (i) oxaliplatin,
- (ii) water;
- and
- (iii) an additive selected from the group consisting of a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid, a salt of a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid, a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative of a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid, and mixtures thereof;
- wherein the additive is at a concentration from about 0.1 mM to about 1.0 mM, and wherein the pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid is selected from the group consisting of citric acid, saccharic acid, succinic acid, malic acid, and tartaric acid, and the pharmaceutically acceptable derivative of a pharmaceutically acceptable carboxylic acid comprises an ester, amide, carbonate, or carbamate of the acid.
