A receiver comprises a plurality of paths for receiving wireless signals, each path having a designated antenna; and an antenna diversity chain adapted for information communication between the plurality of paths for a selecting and using a path among the plurality of paths.

A receiver comprising:
- a plurality of paths for receiving wireless signals, each path having a designated antenna;
- and
- an antenna diversity chain adapted for information communication between the plurality of paths for a selecting and using at least one path among the plurality of paths.
A method used in a receiver comprising the steps of:
- providing a plurality of paths for receiving wireless signals, each path having a designated antenna;
- and
- providing an antenna diversity chain adapted for information communication between the plurality of paths for a selecting and using at least one path among the plurality of paths.
