Abstract
A recording tape cartridge comprising a casing that rotatably accommodates a single reel on which recording tape is wound; a shielding component that slides substantially along a side wall of the casing to open or block off an opening that is formed in the side wall for pulling out the recording tape; and a biasing projection provided projecting out from the casing and biasing the shielding component toward the side wall side when the shielding component has blocked off the opening.

A recording tape cartridge comprising:
- a casing that rotatably accommodates a single reel on which recording tape is wound;
- a shielding component that slides substantially along a side wall of the casing to open or block off an opening that is formed in the side wall for pulling out the recording tape;
- and
- a biasing projection provided projecting out from the casing and biasing the shielding component toward the side wall side when the shielding component has blocked off the opening.
