Abstract
An organic electroluminescent device is provided and includes: a pair of electrodes; and at least one organic layer between the pair of electrodes, the at least one organic layer including a light-emitting layer containing a light-emitting material. The at least one organic layer includes at least one layer containing an indole derivative represented by formula (1). R101, R102, R103, R104 and R105 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R106 represents an alkyl group having a tertiary or quaternary carbon atom; R101 and R106 may be bonded to each other to form a ring; L101 represents a linking group; and n101 represents an integer of 2 or higher.
Claims8
An organic electroluminescent device comprising:
- a pair of electrodes;
- and
- at least one organic layer between the pair of electrodes, the at least one organic layer including a light-emitting layer containing a light-emitting material,
- wherein the at least one organic layer includes at least one layer containing an indole derivative represented by formula (1):
- wherein R101, R102, R103, R104 and R105 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent;
- R106 represents an alkyl group having a tertiary or quaternary carbon atom;
- R101 and R106 may be bonded to each other to form a ring;
- L101 represents a linking group;
- and n101 represents an integer of 2 or higher.
A compound represented by formula (3):
- wherein R301, R302, R303, R304 and R305 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent;
- R306 represents an alkyl group having a tertiary or quaternary carbon atom;
- R301 and R306 may be bonded to each other to form a ring;
- R311, R312, R313, R314 and R315 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent;
- R316 represents an alkyl group having a tertiary or quaternary carbon atom;
- R311 and R316 may be bonded to each other to form a ring;
- and R321, R322, R323 and R324 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent.
