Abstract
The invention relates to a method for comminuting material to be ground having a roller mill which has a mill platen, at least one mill roller and at least two drives for driving the roller mill, with there being provided a power compensation control system for the drives which controls the power of the drives at a predetermined ratio relative to each other by the speed of at least one drive being controlled.

Method for comminuting material to be ground having a roller mill (1) which has a mill platen (10), at least one mill roller (11, 12) and at least two drives (13, 14) for driving the roller mill (1), with a compensation control operation being carried out for the drives, characterised in that
- the compensation control system is formed by a power compensation control system (2), with the power of the drives being controlled at a predetermined ratio relative to each other by the speed of at least one drive (12, 14) being controlled.

- characterised in that the compensation control system is formed by a power compensation control system (2) which is constructed in order to carry out the method according to any one of the preceding claims.
