Abstract
A material for use in flexible printed wiring board having high reliability and allowing for processing fine wiring includes a compound represented by the following general formula (I): wherein one of X and Y represents O and the other represents NAr2R2, and R1, R2, Ar1, and Ar2 are as defined in the specification, and a resin composition comprising the compound as a reactive monomer.

A compound represented by the following general formula (I):
- wherein:
- one of X and Y represents O and the other represents NAr2R2;
- R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen or an organic group having 2 to 36 carbon atoms and containing at least one carbon-carbon double bond or carbon-carbon triple bond, with the proviso that R1 and R2 are not simultaneously hydrogen;
- Ar1 represents an organic group having 6 to 36 carbon atoms;
- and
- Ar2 represents an organic group having 6 to 36 carbon atoms.
