Abstract
A fabric for protecting a wearer thereof from an energy weapon. The fabric is made of a plurality of coupled strands. Bach strand is made from at least two fibers, an electrically non-conductive fiber and an electrically conductive fiber. The electrically non-conductive fiber at least partially encloses the electrically conductive fiber.

A fabric for protecting a wearer thereof from an energy weapon, comprising:
- a plurality of coupled strands, wherein each of said strands comprises first and second fibers, said first fiber comprising an electrically non-conductive material and said second fiber comprising an electrically conductive material, and wherein said first fiber at least partially encloses said second fiber.
A garment for protecting a wearer thereof from an energy weapon, comprising:
- a fabric comprising a plurality of coupled strands, wherein each of said strands comprises first and second fibers, said first fiber comprising an electrically non-conductive material and said second fiber comprising an electrically conductive material, and wherein said first fiber at least partially encloses said second fiber.
A fabric for protecting a wearer thereof from an energy weapon, comprising:
- a plurality of coupled strands, wherein each of said strands comprises first, second, and third fibers, said first and third fibers comprising an electrically non-conductive material and said second fiber comprising an electrically conductive material, and wherein said first and third fibers in combination at least partially enclose said second fiber.
