The invention relates to a method for spinning staple fibres on ring-spinning machines, wherein a staple fibre composite is drawn in a drawing frame and, during exit from the drawing frame, is twisted to form a thread and is wound up by means of a traveler device. The fibre composite (F) which emerges from the drawing frame runs through a thread guide device (1) which has a twisting apparatus (10) which is equipped with a brake device (13, 13). The completely twisted thread (P) is guided over a spindle attachment (33) which is provided with grooves (32, 35), immediately after leaving the twisting apparatus (10). The method is carried out by way of an apparatus for spinning staple fibres on ring-spinning machines, which apparatus comprises a thread guide device which has a twisting element which is arranged at a spacing above the upper end of the ring spindle and is coupled to the ring spindle via a magnetic force field. An attachment (33) which is arranged on the ring spindle (3) and has grooves (32, 35) on its circumference for driving the thread (F) which emerges from the twisting element (10) is connected behind the twisting element (10).
Method for spinning staple fibers on ring spinning machines whereby a staple fiber is drawn in a drawing frame, twisted together to form a thread as it emerges from the drawing frame and wound up by means of a traveler device whereby the fiber composite (F′) that emerges from the drawing frame subsequently runs through a thread-guiding device (1) equipped with a twisting apparatus (10) that has a braking device (13, 13′) that imparts a twist to the fiber composite (F′) driven synchronously with the spinning speed so that a fully twisted thread (F) comes out of the twisting apparatus (10), characterized in that the fully twisted thread (F) is led through a spindle attachment (33) with grooves (32, 35) in such a way after immediately leaving the twisting apparatus (10) that the thread (F) is grasped by the grooves (32, 35) before it reaches the traveler device (6, 62, 63) and is wound up.
