The invention relates to an automatic lubricating pump (1) for a machine having a hydraulically actuated striking tool (4), such as a hydraulic hammer for example. The lubricating pump (1) is designed such that it can be connected to a pressure line (P) of the hydraulic circuit (2). The lubricating pump (1) has a drive piston (8), designed such that it can be driven by the hydraulic circuit, and a feed piston, connected to the drive piston in a motion-transmitting manner, of a feed pump (9), by means of which lubricant is fed to a lubricating point. The service life of the lubricating pump can be prolonged compared with conventional pumps if the drive piston (8) is designed to be double-acting with two drive chambers (8c, 8d) and a hydraulically operable changeover member (16) is provided which can be engaged in the hydraulic circuit and by means of which the drive chambers (8c, 8d) can be alternately and automatically connected to the pressure line (8) during operation.
Automatic lubricating pump (1), which is designed for connection to a pressure line (P) of a hydraulic circuit (2) with repeatedly increasing or constant hydraulic pressure of a machine, such as a construction machine with a hydraulic striking tool (4), with a drive piston (8) shaped to be driven by the hydraulic circuit, and with a feed piston (35) connected to the drive piston in a motion-transmitting manner, said feed piston bordering on a feed chamber (36) which can be filled with lubricant and which is connected to at least one lubricant outlet (6) of the automatic lubricating pump, characterised in that the drive piston (8) is designed double-acting with two drive chambers (8c, 8d), and in that a changeover member (16), which can be engaged in the hydraulic circuit (2) and operated by the hydraulic pressure, is provided, through which the drive chambers (8c, 8d) in operation can be alternately connected to the pressure line (9).
Automatic lubricating pump (1) according to one of the aforementioned claims, characterised in that the changeover member (16) comprises a progressive feeder.
Automatic lubricating pump (1) according to one of the aforementioned claims, characterised in that an adjustable throttle (19, 20), which can be engaged in the hydraulic circuit (2), is provided in parallel or in series with the changeover member (16).
Automatic lubricating pump (1) according to one of the aforementioned claims, characterised in that a reserve of lubricant (10) is accommodated in an exchangeable cartridge (38) arranged on the automatic lubricating pump (1).
Automatic lubricating pump (1) according to one of the aforementioned claims, characterised in that a closable bypass line (21) is provided in parallel to the changeover member (16).
Automatic lubricating pump (1) according to one of the aforementioned claims, characterised in that the connections (3a, 3b, 6, 14) of the automatic lubricating pump (1) are collected on an adapter plate.
Hydraulic striking tool (4) for a machine with its own hydraulic circuit (2), which can be repeatedly subjected to increasing hydraulic pressure, with a lubricating pump (1) operable by the hydraulic circuit, characterised in that the lubricating pump (1) is designed according to one of the aforementioned claims.
Method for lubricating at least one lubricating point (4) on machines with their own hydraulic circuit (2), wherein a drive piston (8) is moved by repeatedly increasing or constant hydraulic pressure in a pressure line (P) of the hydraulic circuit and the movement of the drive piston (8) is transferred to a feed piston (35) coupled to the drive piston, and said piston feeds lubricant in the direction of the at least one lubricating point, characterised in that two drive chambers (8c, 8d) of the drive piston (8) are alternately connected to the pressure line (P) and the drive piston (8) executes a to-and-fro movement.
