Abstract
A buckle includes a male member, a female member for engaging with the male member and having a first portion and a second portion, a first engaging portion provided on the first portion, and a second engaging portion provided on the male member for engaging with the first engaging portion. The second portion can bend so as to receive a part of the male member between the first and second portions. The second portion presses the male member toward the first portion to engage the first engaging portion with the second engaging portion when the male member is inserted between the first and second portions.

A buckle, comprising:
- a male member;
- a female member for engaging the male member and having a first portion and a second portion spaced from the first portion, said second portion being configured to bend so as to receive a part of the male member between the first and second portions;
- a first engaging portion provided on the first portion;
- and
- a second engaging portion provided on the male member for engaging the first engaging portion, said second portion being configured to press the male member toward the first portion to engage the first engaging portion with the second engaging portion when the male member is inserted between the first and second portions.
