Abstract
A blend composition comprises a fluorine-containing polymer electrolyte and a fluoro-rubber. An electrolyte membrane may be prepared from the blend composition. The electrolyte membrane may be used in electrochemical cells such as electrolyzers, batteries and fuel cells.

A polymer blend comprising:
- a first polymer comprising cyclobutyl moiety;
- and
- a non-ionic fluorine containing polymer.
A polymer blend comprising:
- an ionic polymer blend comprising an ionic polymer having a cyclobutyl moiety;
- and an ionic moiety that does not contain a cyclobutyl moiety;
- and
- a non-ionic fluorine containing polymer.
