Dynamic method for generating xml documents from a database

A method for automatically generating (120) at least one XML document (110) including data extracted from a source database (140), said database comprising means for generating said at least one XML document, wherein said means includes an XML generator (120) making use of tables (130, 135) defined in the format and with the language of said database, said method consisting in:

• defining a plurality of templates (220, 225) in at least one definition table (130), said plurality of templates (220, 225) including executable instructions (230) by said XML generator (120), wherein said executable instructions (230) include at least one call instruction (630) for calling any of the templates of said plurality of templates (220, 255);
• defining queries (135) associated with each of said templates (220, 225), wherein said queries are used to extract data from said source database (140) in the form of sets of records (730);
• executing said instructions (230) during an execution stage (700) from a file definition (200) included in said at least one definition table (130), wherein said execution stage (700) includes a call by at least one of said templates to at least one other template of said plurality of templates (220, 225) in order to be able to generate said at least one XML document including said data deriving from said sets of records (730).
