Estra-1,3,5(10)-triene derivatives for contraception

A pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one physiologically compatible adjuvant and at least one compound of the formula (I)

• wherein
• R1 and R6, respectively independently of one another, are selected from —H, a —C1-C12 hydrocarbon or a —CO—C1-C12 hydrocarbon;
• R2, R3, R4 and R5, respectively independently of one another, are selected from —H, —OH, a —O—C1-C12 hydrocarbon or a —O—CO—C1-C12 hydrocarbon;
• wherein the —C1-C12 hydrocarbon, respectively independently of one another, are aliphatic or aromatic;
• and is unsubstituted or substituted with one or more substituents, which are selected independently of one another from the group consisting of halogen and —OH;
• wherein said compound is optionally in the form of a stereoisomer or mixture thereof, respectively in the form of a free compound or a physiologically compatible salt or solvate thereof.
