Device For Activating A Cogged Flexible Transmission Organ

Abstract

The device is designed for a drive transmission system for activating a cogged flexible transmission organ and comprises: at least a support pulley borne idle on a drive shaft and destined to contact, at a calibrated circumference thereof, a top of cogs for of the flexible transmission organ in order to define a predetermined winding radius of the flexible transmission organ; a cogged drawing pulley, interposed between the support pulleys and keyed on the drive shaft and provided with cogs destined to enmesh with bottoms of the flexible transmission organ in order to cause advancement of the flexible transmission organ, the cogs of the drawing pulley being sized such that during the enmeshing the respective tops are displaced from the bottom of the recesses of the flexible transmission organ and such that the tops of the cogs of the flexible transmission organ are displaced from the bottom of the recesses of the drawing pulley. The drawing pulley therefore cannot drag on the flexible transmission organ while the support pulleys are not subject to the drive torque.
