Abstract
The present invention relates to nanoconjugates. In particular, the present invention provides nanoconjugates for diagnostic (e.g., imaging), research, and clinical (e.g., targeted treatment) applications.
Claims24
A multifunctional nanoconjugate comprising:
- a) a nanoparticle comprising a magnetic or superparamagnetic iron oxide core covered by a TiO2 nanoparticle shell;
- and
- b) at least one biological molecule conjugated to said nanoparticle core.
A method of targeting an in vivo target, comprising:
- contacting an organism with a nanoparticle comprising a magnetic or superparamagnetic iron oxide core covered by a TiO2 nanoparticle shell;
- and at least one biological molecule conjugated to said nanoparticle core under conditions such that said nanoconjugate interacts with said in vivo target.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
