Abstract

An iron type golf club head 2 has a toe inclination visually recognizing part and a heel inclination visually recognizing part. The toe inclination visually recognizing part, which is provided on a toe side of a face surface, can be visually recognized to be inclined to a heel side from the toe side as going to a sole side from a top side. The heel inclination visually recognizing part, which is formed on the heel side of the face surface, can be visually recognized to be inclined to the heel side from the toe side as going to the sole side from the top side. An inclination angle α1 of the toe inclination visually recognizing part with respect to a vertical direction reference line Vk is no less than 5 degrees and no more than 15 degrees. An inclination angle α2 of the heel inclination visually recognizing part with respect to the vertical direction reference line Vk is no less than 5 degrees and no more than 15 degrees. An inclination angle β of the face line with respect to a horizontal direction reference line Hk is preferably no less than 5 degrees and no more than 15 degrees.
