Abstract
A power train battery assembly of an electric, fuel-cell or hybrid vehicle for transporting passengers or goods has a plurality of prefabricated battery cells (12), each encased in an individual, externally-closed housing (14). The battery cells (12) are radially clamped by a plurality of walls (2 to 8), corresponding clamp sections (26) being provided on the walls (2 to 8).

Power train battery assembly of an electric, fuel-cell or hybrid vehicle for transporting passengers and/or goods, said assembly having
- a plurality of prefabricated battery cells (12), each encased in an individual, externally-closed cell housing (14) and
- a housing that fixes the battery cells (12) together, the battery cells (12) being arranged in rows,
- characterised in that
- the housing has at least two gripping walls (2 to 8) per row, which walls are arranged at opposite outer areas of the circumference of the battery cells (12) and which walls are braced by holding means (32;

- 62) in the radial direction of the battery cells (12) against one another in order to radially clamp the battery cells (12) therebetween, each wall having a corresponding clamp section (26) for each battery cell (12).
