A floor panel (1) with a coating structure (3) is described, said floor panel (1) exhibiting improved fire protection behaviour. For this purpose, a fire-resistant coating (7) is provided in the coating structure (3).

Floor panel with a layer structure, characterized by a fire-resistant layer provided in the layer structure.
Method of manufacturing a floor panel with a layer structure, in the manufacture of which layers are placed one upon the other and pressed with the addition of a binder, characterized in that a fire-resistant layer is placed in the layer structure and pressed together with the other layers.
A floor panel comprising a layered structure and said layered structure comprises a fire-resistant layer, said fire-resistant layer comprising a glass fiber mat impregnated with melamine resin, and said fire-resistant layer being disposed between a decorative layer and a core.
