Abstract
The invention relates to coated comestibles comprising palatinose and a binding agent and processes to obtain these comestibles.
Claims23
A process for coating comestibles comprising the steps of:
- a) providing cores of comestibles to be coated;
- and
- b) applying to the cores a first liquid medium comprising palatinose and a binding agent so as to obtain at least one layer of a first coating, wherein said first coating comprises at least 5 weight-% of the binding agent, based on the total dry weight of the first coating.
