Abstract
Soft tissue implants (e.g., breast, pectoral, chin, facial, lip, and nasal implants) are used in combination with an anti-scarring agent in order to inhibit scarring that may otherwise occur when the implant is placed within an animal.
Claims25
A device comprising a breast implant and an anti-scarring composition, wherein the composition inhibits scarring between the device and the host into which the device is implanted.
A method for inhibiting scarring between a breast implant and a host comprising placing an anti-scarring composition and a breast implant into an implantation pocket in the host, wherein the anti-scarring composition inhibits scarring between the host and the breast implant.
