Abstract
The site to which a patch was stuck may be identified even after the patch is removed. A patch for drug delivery includes a drug holding portion and a backing layer. The patch further includes a marker capable of indicating a site to which the patch was stuck even after the patch is removed therefrom.
Claims14
A patch for introducing a drug through a biological interface, comprising:
- a drug holding portion configured to hold the drug;
- a backing layer adjacent a surface of the drug holding portion;
- and
- a marker configured to indicate a site of the biological interface to which the patch was stuck after the patch is removed from the site.
