Abstract
The invention is the method of using the soluble modified receptor erbB3 to treat breast cancer by competitively inhibiting ligands, such as heregulin, from binding to erbB3 tyrosine kinase receptors on cell surfaces.
Claims22
A binding molecule having binding affinity for an ErbB ligand, wherein the entire binding molecule is the extracellular region of an ErbB receptor or portion thereof.
A eukaryotic cell comprising a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a portion of an ErbB receptor protein.
