Abstract
An aluminium alloy, comprising magnesium 4.5 to 6.5% by weight, silicon 1.0 to 3.0% by weight, manganese 0.3 to 1.0% by weight, chromium 0.02 to 0.3% by weight, titanium 0.02 to 0.2 % by weight, zirconium 0.02 to 0.2% by weight, one or more rare earth metals 0.0050 to 1.6% by weight, iron max. 0.2% by weight, and the remainder aluminium.

An aluminum alloy, comprising:
- magnesium 4.5 to 6.5% by weight,
- silicon 1.0 to 3.0% by weight,
- manganese 0.3 to 1.0% by weight,
- chromium 0.02 to 0.3% by weight
- titanium 0.02 to 0.2% by weight,
- zirconium 0.02 to 0.2% by weight,
- one or more rare earth metals 0.0050 to 1.6% by weight,
- iron max. 0.2% by weights and the remainder aluminium.
