A nonvolatile memory device for nonvolatile storage of data, comprising:
- at least one nonvolatile memory module;
- and
- an electrical buffer for buffering a supply voltage for the at least one nonvolatile memory module, such that in the event of a failure of the supply voltage, the buffer ensures power to the memory module until a memory operation that is running may be completed.
A microprocessor device containing a microprocessor and a memory device, the memory device comprising:
- at least one nonvolatile memory module;
- and
- an electrical buffer for buffering a supply voltage for the at least one nonvolatile memory module, such that in the event of a failure of the supply voltage, the buffer ensures power to the memory module until a memory operation that is running may be completed.
