Abstract
A method for the automatic detection of at least one property of at least one replaceable component of an apparatus for the production of printed products is disclosed and such an apparatus and a system for the production of printed products are disclosed. The property of the component of the apparatus or of the system is detected by using an electronic device for a wireless detection of component-related data.

- using at least one electronic device for a wireless detection of component-related data.
An apparatus for the production of printed products, comprising:
- a stationary base unit;
- several components arranged on the stationary base unit;
- and
- an electronic device for wireless detection of component-related data.
A system for the production of printed products, comprising:
- a printing press;
- a combined binding line;
- an unwinder unit;
- a rewinder unit;
- a printing cylinder;
- and
- a connected station.
