Liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method therefor

A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device including a first plastic substrate, a second plastic substrate which sandwiches a liquid crystal between itself and the first plastic substrate, and a seal agent which seals the liquid crystal, the method comprising the steps of:

• laminating a first etch stopper layer, and a second etch stopper layer of which a material is different from that of the first etch stopper layer, in this order, onto a first glass substrate;
• forming thin film transistors, and a wiring connection portion in which are formed terminals connected to the thin film transistors, on top of the first glass substrate side second etch stopper layer;
• disposing a wiring substrate connected to the terminals in the wiring connection portion;
• laminating a first etch stopper layer, and a second etch stopper layer of which a material is different from that of the first etch stopper layer, in this order, onto a second glass substrate;
• etching the second glass substrate;
• etching the second glass substrate side first etch stopper layer;
• as well as attaching the second plastic substrate to the second glass substrate side second etch stopper layer by means of an adhesive layer, covering the wiring connection portion and one portion of the wiring substrate with the adhesive layer;
• etching the first glass substrate;
• etching the first glass substrate side first etch stopper layer;
• and
• attaching the first flexible substrate to the first glass substrate side second etch stopper layer by means of an adhesive layer.

A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device including a first glass substrate, a plastic substrate which sandwiches a liquid crystal between itself and the first glass substrate, and a seal agent which seals the liquid crystal, the method comprising the steps of:

• forming thin film transistors, and a wiring connection portion in which are formed terminals connected to the thin film transistors, on the first glass substrate;
• laminating a first etch stopper layer, and a second etch stopper layer of which a material is different from that of the first etch stopper layer, in this order, onto a second glass substrate;
• etching the second glass substrate;
• etching the second glass substrate side first etch stopper layer;
• and
• as well as attaching the plastic substrate to the second glass substrate side second etch stopper layer by means of an adhesive layer, covering the wiring connection portion and one portion of the wiring substrate with the adhesive layer.
