Abstract
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for surface relief output coupling in organic light emitting diodes is provided. The method includes forming a pattern in a surface of an elastomer (310) and laminating at least a portion of the pattern to a surface of an organic light emitting diode (305).
Claims31
A method, comprising:
- forming a pattern in an elastomer;
- and
- laminating at least a portion of the pattern to a surface of an organic light emitting diode.
An apparatus comprising:
- an organic light emitting diode;
- and
- a pattern comprising an elastomer, at least a portion of the pattern being adjacent at least one surface of the organic light emitting diode.
A product formed by a process comprising:
- forming a pattern in an elastomer;
- and
- laminating at least a portion of the pattern to a surface of an organic light emitting diode.
