Abstract
A pressure hood with a pressure hood body to be used in conjunction with especially a heated cylinder in a machine for the production and/or conversion of a fibrous web, especially a paper-, cardboard- or tissue web, and a seal assembly to seal said pressure hood body against the cylinder, provides that the seal assembly can be inserted into or removed from the pressure hood body—particularly when the pressure hood is installed on the cylinder—through a movement in axial direction relative to the pressure hood body.
Claims43
A pressure hood to be used in conjunction with a heated cylinder in a machine for at least one of a production and a conversion of a web of fibrous material, said pressure hood comprising:
- a pressure hood body;
- a seal assembly configured for sealing said pressure hood body against the heated cylinder, said seal assembly configured for being one of inserted into and removed from said pressure hood body through a movement in an axial direction relative to said pressure hood body.
An arrangement, comprising:
- a pressure hood configured for being used in conjunction with a heated cylinder in a machine for at least one of a production and a conversion of a web of fibrous material, said pressure hood including:
- a pressure hood body;
- a seal assembly configured for sealing said pressure hood body against said heated cylinder, said seal assembly configured for being one of inserted into and removed from said pressure hood body through a movement in an axial direction relative to said pressure hood body;
- and
- at least one change-over rack configured for accommodating said seal assembly one of when said seal assembly has been removed from said pressure hood body and when said seal assembly is to be inserted into said pressure hood body.
