Compositions comprising (1) a refractory and/or a binder, and (2) bis-cyclopentadienyl iron cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl, derivatives thereof, and mixtures thereof.

A composition comprising (a) a refractory and/or a binder, and (b) bis-cyclopentadienyl iron, cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl, derivatives thereof, and mixtures thereof.
A composition comprising:
- (a) a binder,
- (b) from about 0.0005 part to 4.0 parts by weight of a metallocene selected from the group consisting of bis-cyclopentadienyl iron, cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl, derivatives thereof, and mixtures thereof, and
- (c) 0 part of a refractory,
- where said parts by weight are based upon 100 parts by weight of the binder composition.
