A method of treating a Clostridium based infection in a mammal comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of a MetRS inhibitor compound.
A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of a Clostridium based ailment in a mammal, comprising a MetRS inhibitor in an effective amount so as to limit the growth of Clostridium bacterium, the preparation further comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient.
