Abstract
The promoter of a soybean lipid transfer protein LTP4 and fragments thereof and their use in promoting the expression of one or more heterologous nucleic acid fragments in plants are described.
Claims37
An isolated polynucleotide comprising:
- a) a nucleotide sequence comprising the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1 or a full-length complement thereof;
- or
- b) a nucleotide sequence comprising a sequence having at least 90% sequence identity, based on the BLASTN method of alignment, when compared to the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1;
- wherein said nucleotide sequence is a promoter.
1 more element
An isolated polynucleotide comprising:
- (a) a nucleotide sequence comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:1;
- or
- (b) a nucleotide sequence comprising a sequence having at least 90% sequence identity, based on the BLASTN method of alignment, when compared to the nucleotide sequence of (a);
- wherein said nucleotide sequence is a promoter.
1 more element
An isolated polynucleotide comprising:
- (a) a nucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide having lipid protein transferase activity, wherein the polypeptide has at least 80% sequence identity, based on the Clustal method of alignment, when compared to the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:15, or
- (b) a full-length complement of the nucleotide sequence of (a).
An isolated polypeptide having lipid protein transferase activity, wherein the isolated polypeptide has at least 80% sequence identity, based on the Clustal method of alignment, when compared to the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:15.
