Abstract
First data is transmitted between a central radio station and at least one transmitter, where the first data is in first data fields of data packets and useful data is in second data fields of the data packets. The first data fields in this context are pre-reserved by the central radio station for the transmission of second data between the transmitter(s) and the receivers.
Claims22
A method of transmitting data between a central radio station and at least one transmitter, comprising:
- generating a plurality of data packets having a plurality of first data fields including first data and a plurality of second data fields including useful data to be communicated between the central radio station and a plurality of receivers associated with at least one radio subscriber,
- wherein the first data fields are pre-reserved, by the central radio station, for second data to be communicated between the at least one transmitter and the plurality of receivers.
A transmission system for transmitting data, comprising:
- a central radio station;
- at least one transmitter in communication with the central radio station and a plurality of receivers associated with at least one radio subscriber;
- and
- a packet generator configured to generate a plurality of data packets having a plurality of first data fields including first data and a plurality of second data fields including useful data to be communicated between the central radio station and a plurality of receivers,
- wherein the first data fields are pre-reserved, by the central radio station, for second data to be communicated between the at least one transmitter and the plurality of receivers.
