Systems and Methods for Generating Interactive Video Content

A system for generating interactive content from video content, the system comprising:

• a plurality of client devices coupled to a network;
• a content server coupled to the network, the content server operative to transmit and receive data to and from the client devices;
• a video data store operative to store video data;
• an element extractor operative to identify at least one product within the video content;
• an element generator operative to convert the product into an interactive element within the video content, assign a plurality of controlling parameters to said at least one interactive element at least one of said controlling parameters includes curvilinear, form-fitting outline identification indicia of said interactive element consistent with movement of the product within the video content and assign a product information identifier with the product and retrievable via the controlling parameters;
• and
• a merger device operative to integrate the at least one interactive element with the video, such that when the video is displayed, the displayed video includes the outlined interactive element therein.
