Abstract
A device receives configuration information associated with software to be installed in a network, builds a software package based on the configuration information, determines one or more devices of the network to perform installation of the software package, sends a command, to perform installation of the software package, to the determined one or more devices, receives one or more software package installation results from one or more other devices of the network where the software package is installed, and generates one or more reports based on the one or more software package installation results.
Claims25
A computing device-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving configuration and installation information associated with software to be implemented in a network;
- building a software package based on the configuration and installation information;
- determining one or more devices of the network to perform installation of the software package;
- sending a request, to perform installation of the software package, to the determined one or more devices;
- receiving one or more software package installation results from one or more other devices of the network where the software package is installed;
- and
- generating one or more reports associated with the determined one or more devices or the software package based on the one or more software package installation results.
A device comprising:
- a memory to store a plurality of instructions;
- and
- processing logic to execute instructions in the memory to:
- receive configuration information associated with software to be installed in a network,
- create a software package based on the configuration information,
- determine one or more servers of the network to perform installation of the software package,
- send a request, to perform installation of the software package, to the determined one or more servers,
- receive one or more software package installation results from one or more devices of the network where the software package is installed, and
- generate one or more reports based on the one or more software package installation results.
A system comprising:
- means for receiving configuration information associated with software to be installed in a network;
- means for building a software package based on the configuration information;
- means for determining one or more devices of the network to perform installation of the software package;
- means for sending a command, to perform installation of the software package, to the determined one or more devices;
- means for receiving one or more software package installation results from one or more other devices of the network where the software package is installed;
- and
- means for generating one or more reports based on the one or more software package installation results.
