Inventory management system, inventory management method and computer-readable recording medium

An inventory management method comprising:

• an error rate calculation step of calculating an error rate, wherein the error rate indicates an error in an actual order quantity of a product to a past ordering required-quantity thereof, becomes positive when the ordering required-quantity is larger than the order quantity and becomes negative when the order quantity is smaller than the ordering required-quantity;
• a correction quantity calculation step of calculating a correction quantity for a safety inventory quantity of the product based on the error rate;
• and
• a safety inventory quantity calculation step of calculating a safety inventory quantity by correcting a reference safety inventory quantity according to a market demand forecasting value of the product with the correction quantity.

A computer-readable recording medium storing a program that allows a computer to execute:

• an error rate calculation step of calculating an error rate, wherein the error rate indicates an error in an actual order quantity of a product to a past ordering required-quantity thereof, becomes positive when the ordering required-quantity is larger than the order quantity and becomes negative when the order quantity is smaller than the ordering required-quantity;
• a correction quantity calculation step of calculating a correction quantity for a safety inventory quantity of the product based on the error rate;
• and
• a safety inventory quantity calculation step of calculating a safety inventory quantity by correcting a reference safety inventory quantity according to a market demand forecasting value of the product with the correction quantity.
