Abstract
Systems and methods are provided to perform an analysis of the accounts receivable of a business. Each component of the accounts receivable is reviewed individually and all factors related to that particular component are accounted for. A data tool is then implemented to analyze the data and to recognize the areas of all of the components that are susceptible to improvement. A strategy is then developed to maximize the efficiency of the accounts receivable.
Claims20
A method for providing an assessment results report for an accounts receivable of a business, the method comprising:
- (a) obtaining a first information set indicative of categories of data of the accounts receivable of the business to obtain a days sales outstanding figure;
- (b) obtaining a second information set indicative of improvement potential data for each category of data of the accounts receivable;
- (c) aligning the days sales outstanding and the second information set to obtain an improved days sales outstanding;
- and
- (d) generating an assessment results report.
A method for providing an assessment results report for an accounts receivable of a business, the method comprising:
- (a) obtaining a first information set indicative of categories of data of the accounts receivable of the business unit to obtain a days sales outstanding figure;
- (b) obtaining a second information set indicative of a desired number of days of improvement for each category of data of the accounts receivable;
- (c) aligning the days sales outstanding and the second information set to obtain an improved days sales outstanding;
- and
- (d) generating an assessment results report.
An apparatus that analyzes an accounts receivable summary of a business comprising:
- an input interface component that obtains category data of the accounts receivable and improvement potential data for each of the category data of the accounts receivable;
- and
- a processor component that aligns the accounts receivable data with the improvement potential data, that compares the category data of the accounts receivable to the improvement potential data and provides an assessment report.
A system for analyzing accounts receivable of a business, comprising:
- (a) a days sales outstanding tool;
- wherein the days sales outstanding tool includes an input interface for receiving data related to the accounts receivable of a business;
- (b) a processor for analyzing the data received by the days sales outstanding tool;
- and
- (c) a display interface for displaying an analysis of the days sales outstanding tool data.
