Abstract
Location technologies are combined with other information systems to provide augmented information for individuals such as a traveler in an automobile.
Claims1
A computer program product embodied in a computer readable medium that, when executing on one or more computers, performs the steps of:
- receiving travel time information pertaining to a route based on a plurality of cell phone locations, wherein the travel time information is associated with at least one parameter relating to the travel time;
- estimating a typical travel time of the route based at least in part on the received travel time information;
- receiving a roadway presentation request from a user through a roadway mapping website interface;
- and
- presenting the roadway presentation in response to the user request, wherein the presentation includes an indication of the typical travel time of the route.
