Abstract
The present invention provides, in certain embodiments, methods for the treatment of colorectal cancer comprising administering a COX-2 inhibitor and fluorocytidine derivative to a human patient. In certain embodiments, a radiation therapy is also administered to the patient.

A method for treating cancer in a human patient comprising administering an effective amount of a COX-2 inhibitor and a fluorocytidine derivative to the patient.
A pharmaceutical preparation comprising a fluorocytidine derivative and COX-2 inhibitor in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
