The present invention relates to liquid compositions provided with durable pearlescent appearance, and to a process of producing said compositions.

A liquid fabric care composition having pearlescent aesthetics, said composition comprising an aqueous carrier, and a benefit agent comprising a fabric care active comprising a plurality of particles, wherein said plurality of particles have a sheet-like microstructure and an average size ranging from about 0.1 to about 50 μm.
A process of preparing a liquid composition having pearlescent aesthetics, wherein said composition comprises a benefit agent, said process comprising the steps of processing said benefit agent thereby producing a plurality of particles, said particles having a sheet-like microstructure and an average size ranging from 0.1 to 50 μm.
