Abstract
A device for removing foreign substances from a USB port for vehicles includes a removal plate, a toothed rod, a gear assembly, a reversible rotation motor, and a control unit. The removal plate is installed to a lower end in the USB port in such a way as to be movable up and down. The toothed rod is mounted to a bottom portion of the removal plate so as to be able to move the removal plate up and down, with teeth being provided on a surface of the toothed rod. The gear assembly engages with the teeth for moving the toothed rod up and down. The reversible rotation motor rotates the gear assembly in two opposite directions. The control unit controls the operation of the motor. The device allows users to remove foreign substances in a simpler way.

A device for removing foreign substances from a USB port for vehicles, comprising:
- a removal plate installed to a lower end in the USB port in such a way as to be able to move up and down;
- a toothed rod mounted to the removal plate so as to be able to move the removal plate up and down, with teeth being provided on a surface of the toothed rod;
- a gear assembly engaging with the teeth for moving the toothed rod up and down;
- a reversible rotation motor for rotating the gear assembly in two opposite directions;
- and
- a control unit for controlling operation of the motor.
