Abstract
A display apparatus includes a substrate; a display area including a plurality of pixels provided on the substrate; a switching element provided for each of the pixels, the switching element including a first semiconductor layer formed of a first organic semiconductor; and a humidity sensor provided on the substrate and outside the display area. The humidity sensor includes, as a humidity sensitive layer, a second semiconductor layer formed of a second organic semiconductor having a correlation in terms of electric characteristics with the first organic semiconductor.
Claims7
A display apparatus comprising:
- a substrate;
- a display area including a plurality of pixels provided on the substrate;
- a switching element provided for each of the pixels, the switching element including a first semiconductor layer formed of a first organic semiconductor;
- and
- a humidity sensor provided on the substrate and outside the display area, the humidity sensor including, as a humidity sensitive layer, a second semiconductor layer formed of a second organic semiconductor having a correlation in terms of electric characteristics with the first organic semiconductor.
An electrophoretic display apparatus comprising:
- a device substrate including a plurality of pixels forming a display area and a switching element provided for each of the pixels, the switching element including a first semiconductor layer formed of a first organic semiconductor;
- a display substrate facing the device substrate;
- an electrophoretic layer held between the device substrate and the display substrate;
- a humidity sensor provided on the device substrate and outside the display area, the humidity sensor including, as a humidity sensitive layer, a second semiconductor layer formed of a second organic semiconductor having a correlation in terms of electric characteristics with the first organic semiconductor, the second semiconductor layer being positioned on the same level as the first semiconductor layer on the device substrate;
- and
- a pair of electrodes sandwiching at least a part of the second semiconductor layer.
