Output control device, computer readable medium for the same, and output control system

An output control device, comprising:

• a communication unit configured to perform communication with an external device therethrough;
• an output unit configured to output a voice received from the external device and a voice to be transmitted;
• a display unit configured to display a predetermined image;
• a position detecting unit configured to detect a position specified on the predetermined image displayed on the display unit;
• a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display an image of a handset as the predetermined image when the communication is performed with the external device via the communication unit;
• an area specifying unit configured to specify an area corresponding to a voice receiving portion on the image of the handset as a received voice volume control area for controlling a sound volume of the received voice and to specify an area corresponding to a voice transmitting portion on the image of the handset as a transmitted voice volume control area for controlling a sound volume of the transmitted voice;
• and
• an output control unit configured to control the sound volume of the received voice when the specified position detected on the image of the handset by the position detecting unit is within the received voice volume control area specified by the area specifying unit and to control the sound volume of the transmitted voice when the specified position detected on the image of the handset by the position detecting unit is within the transmitted voice volume control area specified by the area specifying unit.

A computer readable medium comprising computer readable instructions to be executed by an output control device that includes an output unit configured to output information externally received or to be transmitted outside, a display unit configured to display a predetermined image, and a position detecting unit configured to detect a position specified on the predetermined image displayed on the display unit, the instructions causing the output control device to perform:

• a display control step of controlling the display unit to display the predetermined image when the output unit outputs the information;
• an area specifying step of specifying a predetermined area on the predetermined image as an output control area for controlling an output condition of the information to be outputted from the output unit, depending on what kind of image the predetermined image is;
• and
• an output control step of controlling the output condition of the information when the specified position on the predetermined image detected by the position detecting unit is within the output control area specified in the area specifying step.

An output control system, comprising:

• an output unit configured to output information externally received or to be transmitted outside;
• a display unit configured to display a predetermined image;
• a position detecting unit configured to detect a position specified on the predetermined image displayed on the display unit;
• a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display the predetermined image when the output unit outputs the information;
• an area specifying unit configured to specify a predetermined area on the predetermined image as an output control area for controlling an output condition of the information to be outputted from the output unit, depending on what kind of image the predetermined image is;
• and
• an output control unit configured to control the output condition of the information when the specified position on the predetermined image detected by the position detecting unit is within the output control area specified by the area specifying unit.
